Steve Betts is a strategic, results-oriented executive with 30+ years of delivering business results through technology. He partners with clients to develop digital business strategies that are shaped by emerging technologies and the rapidly changing digital landscape. He designs and implements operating models for both IT and the enterprise that embed digital practices into the fabric of how companies operate.
Mr. Betts will lead the total product lifecycle development and enhancement team, and he will build a customer success organization. His leadership role will accelerate our velocity of solution development and customer acquisition, expediting the development of our CoreTechs® solutions. He will be a major voice in setting product portfolio solutions priorities and provide pre-sales and POC support to the sales teams.
Prior to joining Gray Matter Analytics, Mr. Betts founded Aperture Consulting, where he partnered with Private Equity companies and their Healthcare portfolio companies to develop digital business strategies shaped by emerging technologies and the rapidly changing digital landscape.
Throughout his career, Mr. Betts has held a variety of technology executive roles in the healthcare and insurance industries, in addition to leadership roles in IT and digital consulting companies. As SVP & CIO at HCSC (Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, TX, OK, NM, MT), Mr. Betts led one of the largest digital transformations in the healthcare industry, repositioning HCSC as a technology-driven company.
As CIO at Aon, Mr. Betts was instrumental in digitizing the global reinsurance industry, including modernizing the London Insurance Market, and developing a new revenue stream using insights from the first “big data” repository of global commercial insurance trades. He also led the technology integrations for two large-scale acquisitions, Benfield Group and Hewitt Associates.
Mr. Betts is frequently sought to share his experience and thought leadership on digital transformation at local and national events. He holds a B.S. in math and management science from University of Manchester in the UK.
