Gray Matter Analytics is seeking a Technical Product Manager — Analytics Applications | Healthcare to join our growing Product Management Team.

HOW DO WE DO IT  Through our proprietary CoreTechs® Analytics as a Service (AaaS) suite of solutions, we deliver enhanced analytic capabilities across the full value-chain to facilitate payer and provider collaboration and support the transition to value-based care.  Our solutions enable healthcare organizations to maximize the value of their data assets faster and with less investment than conventional approaches.  We utilize an end-to-end approach with integrated advisory services to ensure our Clients fully realize the value of their investment in advanced data analytics solutions.

The Technical Product Manager will be a member of CoreTechs Product Management function reporting to the Chief Technology Officer. As a member of the team building the CoreTechs product and deploying solutions for our clients, you will:


  • Coordinate with business product owners, data science, engineering and client implementation services to define the product strategy
  • Create technical product roadmap, maintain the technical product backlog, and manage the development and release timelines with input from other areas
  • Define and prioritize product features based on market research, technology trends, competitive analysis, and data availability
  • Partner with engineering in refining and enhancing foundational technology architecture for the CoreTechs® product and its deployment
  • Create detailed requirements for foundational technology components which enable functional capabilities defined by business product owners
  • Provide nonfunctional requirements to engineering and other development and operational functions
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and dependencies with input from data science and engineering
  • Define and manage development schedules
  • Define success criteria for the product and coordinate product testing including bug documentation and fixes
  • Support product releases through effective documentation and knowledge sharing tools (e.g., presentations, FAQs, how-to documents, training materials, external/internal feedback)
  • Lead user testing and acceptance processes, including planning, scenarios development, execution, and documentation
  • Lead MVPs to test and enable functional and technical capabilities for CoreTechs® product


As the Technical Product Manager, you bring:

  • 8+ years of product development related experience with focus on analytics application development and cloud technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or a similar field; Advanced degree in healthcare related field will be a plus
  • Experience in defining and articulating product technical architectures
  • Ability to establish clear priorities
  • Ability to judge and solve technical risks
  • SaaS and/or startup company experience
  • Agile product development, data and analytics, and cloud deployment experience
  • Experience with design and/or user experience principles
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team building, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous environment
  • Health-tech industry experience a plus
  • Familiarity with healthcare data
  • Familiarity with healthcare measures and Value Base Care concepts
