The Senior Software Engineer – Data Platform will be a member of CoreTechs® team reporting to the Director of Engineering. As a member of the team building the CoreTechs® product and deploying it for our clients, the Senior Software Engineer will focus on designing and engineering the core engines and pipeline supporting the data flow in CoreTechs®.
We’re looking for a strong team player, who has expertise in coding, testing and deployment in a software-as-a-service environment. We need you to drive automation and productization at every step of the way – from coding to deployment. You will utilize your experience with platform development and management, to help the team identify and respond to any weaknesses or gaps in the platform architecture. Your extensive understanding of product/application designs and software development experience, knowledge of Agile Methodology, programming / scripting skills (Python, Scala, Bash, Korn Shell), experience with databases, markup languages and code management tools would make a good fit for this position! You’ll design and document new features/capabilities of the platform. You’re a team player and can also work independently with minimal guidance and oversight. You’re willing to roll up your sleeves and pitch in where needed.
Your strong interest in data and analytics technologies and trends and deep knowledge of data concepts, together with your experience with cloud platforms and Big Data technologies, plus your ability to work in a team environment make this an ideal position for you.
